Degree Courses

PilotsThe College of Aeronautics offers students a comprehensive list of courses. Our Human Factors degree is rooted in cognitive psychology, physiological and engineering theory and an applied science with an intimate and direct connection to the operational world. Our course work provides students with the tools, knowledge and skills required to work in many different disciplines.

Each student follows a graduate program plan (GPP) that consists of 15 credit hours of core classes (including 6 credit hours of thesis) and a minimum of an additional 21 credit hours of electives. Given the relatively large number of electives, students are able to fashion a program to meet their specific needs and interests. Students can choose from an array of courses that focus on aviation safety, aircraft avionics, aviation physiology and human-computer interaction.
